Eyeglasses done immediately? Are they any good? Are they ‘anyhow’ done? After your eye examination, our staff picks the lenses with your prescription from our large inventory of lenses, and then proceeds to mark the lenses with the appropriate parameters. A machine is then used to cut the lenses for it to be fitted into the frame – automatically and quite precisely! Your new eyeglasses are then dispensed to you. Prescription issues are extremely rare (although not impossible) since the lens prescription is checked both before and after cutting the lenses. Having an in-house lab allows us to better monitor and maintain quality standards, so you can be confident of our professionally-finished lenses. We also have an open-concept edging area so you can see us in action, thankfully modern machines allow these to happen quickly and quietly – nothing like the welding picture!
